Heb je zin in een bijzondere roei ervaring?

Op zaterdagavond 28 juni 2025 organiseren de Samenwerkende Amsterdamse Roeiverenigingen (De Amstel, Amstelgeuzen, De Hoop, Poseidon, RIC en Willem 3), de jaarlijkse Kortste Nacht Tocht.

Programma:
19.30 uur: Verzamelen bij Willem 3, briefing
20.00 uur: Vertrek richting Ouderkerk
Je roeit een avond- en nachttocht van 29km rondom de Ronde Hoep-polder.
Halverwege de tocht is er een pauze met picknick op de oever van de Waver (sanitaire stop).
Even na 22.00 uur zie je de zonsondergang vanuit je bootje op de Waver.
Door het donker roei je over de Amstel langs Nes en Ouderkerk terug naar Willem 3.
Na afloop, gezellig napraten, soep en broodjes bij Willem 3.
Vanaf ±0.00 uur worden de eerste boten terug verwacht bij Willem 3.
De eindtijd inclusief de nazit zal rond 01.00 à 02.00 uur ’s nachts zijn.

Aanmelden, uiterlijk 24 juni:
Schrijf jezelf of je ploeg in via toercommissie@willem3.nl onder vermelding van ‘Kortste Nacht 2025’. Plus voor jezelf en/of je ploegleden:
(a) je naam (jullie namen)
(b) mobiele telefoonnummer(s)
(c) je/jullie e-mailadressen
(d) je/jullie afroei klasse(n)
(e) eventueel je voorkeur voor een wherry of Cx+-boot.
(f) Geef ajb aan of je/jullie na afloop mee wilt doen met de soep en de broodjes ja/nee.
Na aanmelding ontvang je een bevestigingsmail.

Kosten:
Meedoen kost € 12.50 per persoon, inclusief picknick onderweg en soep met broodjes na afloop.
Zou je het bedrag ajb willen overmaken op rekening NL75 RABO 0106 6517 57 t.n.v. R.V. Willem 3 ovv je naam of de naam van je ploeg als je voor de hele ploeg betaalt? En onder vermelding van Kortste Nacht 2025.

Informatie:
Geschikt voor roeiers met een redelijk goede conditie en minimaal klasse 1 (bij voorkeur klasse 2+).
Je moet in staat zijn om in- en uit de boot te stappen bij lastige oevers.
Er zijn lage en/of smalle bruggen te verwachten op deze route, je moet kunnen slippen en doorvallen.

Invitation: Shortest Night Tour – Saturday June 28th 2025

Are you up for a special rowing experience?

On Saturday evening June 28th 2025, the Amsterdam Rowing Clubs (De Amstel, Amstelgeuzen, De Hoop, Poseidon, RIC and Willem 3) are organising the annual Shortest Night Tour.

Program:
7:30 pm: Gathering at Willem 3, briefing
8 pm: Departure towards Ouderkerk
You will row an evening and night trip of 29km around the Ronde Hoep polder.
Halfway through the trip there is a break with a picnic on the banks of the Waver (sanitary stop).
Shortly after 10 pm you will see the sunset from your boat on the Waver.
In the dark you will row over the Amstel past Nes and Ouderkerk back to Willem 3.
After-party, nice chat, soup and sandwiches at Willem 3.
The first boats are expected back at Willem 3 from approximately 00:00.
The end time including the after-party will be around 01:00 to 02:00 am at night.

Registration, no later than June 24th:
Register yourself or your team via toercommissie@willem3.nl, stating ‘Kortste Nacht 2025’. Plus for yourself and/or your team members:
(a) your name(s)
(b) mobile phone number(s)
(c) your/your email addresses
(d) your/your afroei class(es)
(e) maybe your preference for a wherry or Cx+ boat.
(f) Please indicate whether you want to join in for the soup and sandwiches afterwards, yes/no.
After registration you will receive a confirmation email.

Costs:
Participation costs €12,50 per person, including a picnic on the way and soup and sandwiches afterwards.
Would you please transfer the amount to account NL75 RABO 0106 6517 57 in the name of R.V. Willem 3 o.v. your name or the name of your team if you pay for the entire team? And mentioning Shortest Night 2025.

Information:
Suitable for rowers with a reasonably good condition and at least class 1 (preferably class 2+).
You must be able to get in and out of the boat at difficult banks.
There are low and/or narrow bridges to be expected on this route, You must be familiar with ‘slippen’ and ‘doorvallen’ and be able to execute these commands well.
