Nieuwe datum: Zaterdag 15 juli – W3 Zomertocht 2023

Let op: Vanwege de te verwachten hitte op zaterdag 8 juli 2023 is de W3
Zomertocht uitgesteld naar Zaterdag 15 juli vanaf 8:30 uur.

Deze bijzondere tocht van 40,5km, met 2 schutsluizen, is geschikt voor
gevorderde roeiers. Je bent de hele dag onderweg. Ga je met ons mee? We
verzamelen om 8.30 uur.

Aanmelden
Schrijf jezelf of je ploeg uiterlijk woensdag 12 juli in via
toercommissie@willem3.nl onder vermelding van ‘Zomertocht 2023’. Plus (a) je naam (jullie namen), (b) mobiele telefoonnummer(s), (c) je/jullie afroei
klasse(n), (d) eventueel je voorkeur voor een wherry of Cx+-boot. Na aanmelding ontvang je een bevestigingsmail.

Kosten
Meedoen kost € 10,- per persoon, inclusief een welkomstdrankje bij Willem 3
en een drankje in Baambrugge. Voor deelnemers van andere roeiverenigingen, die een boot van Willem 3 willen gebruiken, komt er € 5,- pp bij.

Het bedrag ajb overmaken op rekening NL75 RABO 0106 6517 57 t.n.v. R.V.
Willem 3 ovv je naam of de naam van je ploeg als je voor de hele ploeg betaalt.

Informatie
De Baambrugge-Vinkeveentocht gaat vanaf Willem 3 door landelijk gebied via de Amstel, de Bullewijk en de Holendrecht naar Abcoude. Je roeit over de Angstel naar Baambrugge en Loenersloot. Na de Demmerikse sluis kom je op de Vinkeveense plassen. Via de Proostdijersluis en het riviertje de Winkel ga je weer richting Ouderkerk aan de Amstel.

Vanwege het passeren van diverse smalle en lage bruggen op de route is het
van belang dat je goed kunt slippen en dat je helemaal plat kunt liggen in
de boot (doorvallen). Je moet in staat zijn om in- en uit te stappen bij lastige oevers.

This special trip of 40.5 km, with 2 locks, is suitable for advanced rowers.
You are on the road all day. Are you joining us? We gather at 8:30 am.

Register yourself or your team no later than Wednesday 12 July via
toercommissie@willem3.nl, stating ‘Summer Tour 2023’. Plus (a) your name(s), (b) mobile phone number(s), (c) your rowing class(es), (d) possibly your wherry or Cx+ boat preference. After registration you will receive a confirmation email.

Cost
Participating costs € 10,- per person, including a welcome drink at Willem 3
and a drink in Baambrugge. For participants of other rowing clubs who want
to use a Willem 3 boat, an additional € 5,- per person will be added.

Please transfer the amount to account NL75 RABO 0106 6517 57 in the name of. R.V. Willem 3 stating your name or the name of your team if you pay for the whole team.

Information
The Baambrugge-Vinkeveentocht goes from Willem 3 through rural areas via the Amstel, the Bullewijk and the Holendrecht to Abcoude. You row across the Angstel to Baambrugge and Loenersloot. After the Demmerikse sluis (lock) you arrive at the Vinkeveense Plassen. Via the Proostdijersluis (lock) and the river de Winkel you go back to Ouderkerk aan de Amstel.

Because of the passing of various narrow and low bridges on the route, it is
important that you can slip your oars properly and that you can lie completely flat in the boat (doorvallen). You must be able to get in and out of the boat on difficult banks.
