De derde Regiowedstrijd van 2026 wordt georganiseerd door Michiel de Ruyter in Uithoorn en vindt plaats op zaterdag 13 juni.

Programma*:
13.00 ontvangst, aanmelden
13:25 Uitleg baan & spelregels
13:40 Boten naar buiten, eerste ploegen instappen
14:00 Start wedstrijden
rond 16:30 Bekendmaking winnaars, uitreiking prijzen.
De wedstrijdbaan*:
De lengte van de wedstrijdbaan is 500 meter.
Raceformat: Iedere ploeg roeit de baan twee keer, boord-aan-boord (binnen- en buitenbaan).
*Het tijdschema, de informatie over de wedstrijdbaan zijn onder voorbehoud van wijzigingen.
Doelgroep: beginnende en recreatieve roeiers vanaf S1/St2 bevoegdheid die het leuk vinden om eens in wedstrijdverband te roeien.
Hoe werkt het?
• Vorm een ploegje voor je gewenste boottype (C2x+, C4x+ of 4x+).
• Je team kan bestaan uit dames, heren of mix. (Mix team is minimaal 50% dames).
• Het gaat vooral om het plezier tijdens de voorbereidingen en bij de wedstrijden.
• Je neemt het op tegen teams uit de regio Amsterdam en omstreken.
Doe je ook mee? Het kan zomaar jouw opstap zijn naar grotere wedstrijden zoals Novembervieren, de Head of the River en de Heineken Roeivierkamp.

Je wordt toegevoegd als lid van de WhatsAppgroep van W3 Regiowedstrijd roeiers. In deze groep wordt informatie gedeeld die van belang is voor de wedstrijden.
Aanmelden als individuele W3 roeier mag ook. Zoek je eventuele ploeggenoten binnen de leden van de WhatsApp groep. Of we proberen je te koppelen aan andere individuele deelnemers.
Kosten: € 5,00 per roeier. Voor de Stuur zijn de eerste 4 wedstrijden gratis.

Regional Competition #3/5, Saturday June 13th 2026 at Michiel de Ruyter in Uithoorn
The third Regional Competition of 2026 is being organised by Michiel de Ruyter in Uithoorn and will take place on Saturday June 13th.
Location: Amsteldijk Zuid 253, 1423 BZ Uithoorn.
Programme*:
1 pm Welcome, registration
1:25 pm Explanation of course & rules
1:40 pm Boats to the water, first teams to board
2 pm Start of races
around 4:30 pm Announcement of winners, prize-giving.
The race course*:
The length of the race course is 500 metres.
Race format: Each team rows the course twice, side-by-side (inner and outer lanes).
*The timetable, information about the race course are subject to change.
Target group: novice and recreational rowers with S1/St2 certification who would like to try their hand at competitive rowing.
What do you need to do?
• Form a team for your preferred boat type (C2x+, C4x+ or 4x+).
• Your team can consist of women, men or a mixed group. (Mixed teams must be at least 50% women).
• It’s all about having fun during training and at the races.
• You’ll be competing against teams from the Amsterdam region and surrounding areas.
Will you be joining in? It could well be your stepping stone to bigger races such as the Novembervieren, the Head of the River and the Heineken Roeivierkamp.

You will be added as a member of the W3 Regional Regatta rowers’ WhatsApp group. Information relevant to the regattas will be shared in this group.
You may also register as an individual W3 rower. Look for potential teammates among the members of the WhatsApp group. Alternatively, we will try to pair you with other individual participants.
Cost: €5.00 per rower. For the coxswain, the first 4 races are free.
